Cat problems
Odormute™ Powder eliminates pet odor from carpets, rugs, mattresses and keeps the cat litter box odorless. The solution must come in direct contact with the source of the odor in order to eliminate it. Odormute™ will not harm people, pets or plant life.
Spraying
Mix Odormute™ solution at a ratio of 1 tablespoon of Odormute™ to 3,78 litre of water. Mix odormute™ in a 0,5 liter of warm water until completely dissolved ( 5-10 minutes). Add this solution to the balance of the water to be used. Using a hand sprayer thoroughly spray on the area the cat has sprayed. Important and be sure to treat other areas where the urine may have run. Otherwise odor will not go away if did not come to contact with the solution.
1. Test a small area before use. Soak and let dry.
2. In large carpeted areas, all odor sources must be located and treated. If you do not find the source it is better to terat the entire carpet.
3. Dissolve 1 tablespoon in 0,5 litre of warm water. (Increasing the amount of Odormute will speed the action with no harm to people, pets or fabric).
4. Soak the carpet and pad in the spots in need of treatment.
5. Allow to soak for 1 hour.
6. Remove excess moisture and allow the carpet to dry. Failure to do so may produce mildew or ammonia odors. Suggestion: you may use towels, a hair dryer or fan to speed drying. Lift the carpet to allow air flow around the treated area.
After soaking a carpet with Odormute™ solution, the area must be thoroughly dried!
Odormute™ is not recommended for Oriental Rugs. Enzymes might ruin the coloring and silk material.
