Odormute™

For over 50 years Odormute™ has provided a solution for odor elimination and solid waste remediation with products for pets, urinals, self contained toilets, septic systems, composting and pluming.

How it works...

The action of Odormute™ chemically changes the source of the odor and eliminates it. It does not simply mask the odor. The Odormute™ solution must come in direct contact with the source of the odor in order to eliminate it.

A natural product

Enzymes are derived from all living organisms and are harmless to humans, animals, and marine life. Enzymes are non-toxic, non-irritating and non-hazardous.

Why Powders?

Bacteria and enzymes are put into a dormant state by drying them, stopping the enzyme activity. This allows the formula to withstand the blending and packaging process and temperature variations during shipping and storage. Digestive activity resumes when the formula re-hydrated with water which activates their enzymes and stimulates the bacteria to begin feeding on nutrients. Powders are still the most economical chemical form!

The science ...

Odormute™ powders are blends of aerobic and anaerobic Bacillus bacteria and/or powerful enzymes. These "friendly and helpful" bacteria and enzymes are added to a favorable enviroment, like a septic tank or grease trap, and the spores germinate into growing cells that activate enzyme systems and being feeding on the nutrients.
